Our goal was to create the Riddell SpeedFlex, a helmet that integrates fully with cutting-edge components and innovations to enhance athletic performance and provide top-of-the-line protection. Taking into consideration the needs and desires of athletes at all levels of competition, we have developed a product that is backed by extensive research, including over 2 million data points from on-field impacts.

The SpeedFlex introduces many new technical features to the field of football helmets. This includes patented side impact protection (PSIP) research-based mandible protection, which helps to reduce the forces from side impacts. Additionally, a Flex system has been engineered into the helmet's shell, face mask, and face mask attachment system with hinge clips, in order to reduce the transfer of impact force to the athlete. The Cam-Lock chin strap attachment system allows for easy adjustments, while the Air Fit Liner System and Quick Release Facemask Attachment System further enhance the helmet's performance.
