We aimed to create a helmet that combines cutting-edge technology and innovative features, providing top-notch performance and maximum protection for athletes. In order to achieve this, we thoroughly considered the desires and requirements of players at all levels of competition. The outcome of our efforts is the Riddell SpeedFlex helmet. Supported by extensive research, which includes analyzing over 2 million data points of on-field impacts, the SpeedFlex introduces several technical advancements that are unprecedented in the field. One such feature is the patented side impact protection (PSIP) research-based mandible protection, which effectively mitigates the effects of side impacts. To further enhance the helmet's protective properties, a Flex system has been integrated into the shell, face mask, and face mask attachment system. Equipped with hinge clips, this system minimizes the transfer of impact forces to the athlete. Moreover, the Cam-Lock chin strap attachment system allows for effortless adjustments, ensuring a comfortable fit for the wearer. The Air Fit Liner System, another key component, enhances both comfort and safety. Additionally, the Quick Release Facemask Attachment System facilitates hassle-free removal and attachment of the face mask. Designed specifically for football, the Riddell SpeedFlex helmet comes complete with the helmet itself, a chinstrap, and a facemask.
